Retired Colonel, Dr. David Cole is a decorated combat veteran who served our country for 22 years as an Army physician in Afghanistan and Iraq. Because of his exemplary service, Colonel David Cole was awarded three Bronze Stars and an Air Medal for his service.David wants to bring his leadership ability and conservative values to the Alabama State House representing District 10. Security is our most valued resource. We must provide our police and first responders with the best technology and latest equipment. David will support legislation for tougher penalties for repeat offenders of violent crimes.
Parents have a right to have input on their children’s education. David Cole will ensure parents have a voice in the schools.
Small businesses and farmers are the backbone of our country. David Cole will support legislation that protects them from unnecessary government regulations.
Roads in District 10 have to be improved. David Cole will work with the local delegation to secure funding to widen Highway 72 and improve main feeder roads.
David Cole believes we should honor our veterans with expanded benefits and increase funding for the Alabama National Guard
District 10 is growing fast and our schools are becoming overcrowded. David Cole will work to fund building new schools and provide our children a world class education

Dr. David Cole serves as Medical Director of Occupational Health Group. He and his wife (Melanie) have three children, Alex, Michael, and Catherine. They are members of First Baptist Church of Huntsville and St. John the Baptist Church in Madison. David is a graduate of Arkansas State University and received his Doctorate Degree in Medical Services from the University of Arkansas.
David is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, 25th Infantry Division Association and The Marine's Memorial Club. He is member of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Alumni Association, and has served in the Boy Scouts of America for two decades, as recent Scout Master of Troop 204 in Madison, and the Madison County Boy Scout District Advancement Chair.
